Windows 10: Windows Explorer very slow when entering Onedrive folders on Windows 11

This is basically a repost of a problem that has been around for a while and Windows does not seem interested in solving. The query below from Aroon Cooke 1 never solved explains it perfectly.Windows needs to admit that this is a WINDOWS problem, and not an individual user problem. Stop upgrading stuff we don't want and get the BASICS right.Windows Explorer is slow when browsing OneDrive synced folders. Windows 10 - OneDrive

Anyone know how to remove "OneDrive - For Business" from the Explorer navigation panel? I've tried just about every registry modification, and windows policy for "Onedrive" but they only seem to work for the consumer product, not for onedrive for business.

The onedrive product alone is so damn annoying and continues to load itself upon startup, even when it's explicitly remove from startup. It continues to automatically load and unload itself from within the startup folder... while I'm actively watching it load itself into the startup folder.

Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Windows Explorer very slow when entering Onedrive folders on Windows 11

Hi,

I have a problem with Windows Explorer when trying to enter Onedrive folders - no difference if I work with personal or business Onedrive (Office 365). It sometimes takes a few seconds to enter a folder, there are times when I have to hit "Enter" on keyboard because clicking with mouse is not doing anything. The interesting part is that entering local folders (like Windows folder or Program Files work just fine). I have the newest version of Windows 11 and even reinstalled it (fresh with complete disc clean up) - the problem is still there. Frankly speaking this simple failure makes me want to give up Windows 11... Please advise.
