Windows 10: Windows explorer very slow when navigation pane is displayed

Hello everyone, im running into an issue when my windows explorer is extremely slow to load ~2min only when the navigation pane is displayed, i have a fairly good computer i5-7600k, gtx 1660, 16gb 3200mhz ramI tried a lots of things to make it work again, -rebuilding the index-clearing the win explorer cache-ressetting the win explorer settings-creating a new key in the registery-selecting fewer files to be displayed when the explorer is launchedwhat could cause this issue, does anyone have an idea? File Explorer - Navigation Pane Slow to display Network devices

Minor niggle with File Explorer's Navigation Pane initially slow to display my networked devices (computers). However clicking the Network Icon immediately populates the area to the right of the Navigation Pane with my Computers, Media Devices and Storage.
Network sharing works well with all my computers.
Network is Private.
My computers all have defined IP addresses.
I don't remember this being an issue prior to version 1903.
Windows 10 Pro
Version 1903
Build 18362.418

Any idea how to fix this?

Not able to open sub-folders from navigation pane in File explorer.

Thank you for posting on Microsoft Community. We will assist you in resolving the issue.



Before assisting further, I would like to ask you few questions:

• Under which drive are you not able to view the sub folders?
• Are you not able to expand the options from navigation pane of the File explorer?

This seems to be a temporary issue. Sometimes disabling and enabling some of the options will fix the issue.



Follow the steps below and check if the issue is resolved.

• Open File explorer by pressing Windows key + E keys on the keyboard.
• Click on View tab located at the top of the window.
• Click on Navigation pane and uncheck Navigation pane option.
• Close the window, follow the above steps from a to
  c, only this time check the option Navigation pane and check if the changes are effective.

OneDrive missing from Windows Explorer navigation pane

When I first cleaned installed Windows 10 v1809 on my machine I applied a Group Policy setting for OneDrive to Prevent the Usage of OneDrive for File Storage to ENABLED. Of course, that would remove the OneDrive from the left side navigation pane within Windows File Explorer. But now, I set the Group Policy back to NOT CONFIGURED, rebooted the machine and the OneDrive is still missing from the the left side of the Windows File Explorer navigation pane as shown in my image. I even performed the command GPUPDATE /FORCE.

My laptop is a standalone, not part of a Domain.

I tried all the things listed from the article below but with no luck. I also was able to sign in with my OneDrive account and that was all fine and OneDrive appeared on the File Explorer pane. But once I UNLINKED my account from OneDrive, the OneDrive was still missing.

Even if no Group Policies are set, and even NOT signing into OneDrive, by default, the OneDrive icon should still appear on the left side navigation pane when launching Windows File Explorer.

And suggestions?

My guess is to recreate my user profile, but I don't really want to do that now.
