  1. Windows explorer won't open, constantly causes screen to refresh

Through a lot of troubleshooting I was actually able to figure out what is causing this issue, and it seems to be my user account. Safe Mode had no effect on the issue but when I created a new user it seemed to resolve the issue. How would I actually go about trying to fix this issue with my specific user without losing any of my data?

Windows explorer won't open, constantly causes screen to refresh

Every time I try to open a Windows application like My Computer, Recycle Bin, or anything to do with the file explorer, it won't open and just causes my screen to refresh. Sometimes I can open files through shortcuts but if I try right-clicking, it causes
the screen to refresh. Anyone else getting this or know how to fix it?

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
