Windows 10: Windows facing problems after interrupted update

I started facing minor problems like lagging mouse cursor and random windows explorer crashes. So i decided to update windows. After the update started, it was extremely slow. It completed to 21% after 1 hour. I force shut down my computer because I had to use it. After it turned on, undoing changes made to your computer started showing up which again went into an infinite loop. So I had to go into startup repair that could again not fix any problems. I tried chkdsk to fix disk errors. Fortunately after the chkdsk completed after 3 hours or so, windows booted up. But since then, I face multiple issues like jerky mouse cursor, laggy context menu, desktop blackout after refresh, youtube audio lag and many more. Does anybody have a solution for this? Also I don't have any system restore points by which I can go back to the previous point. Is there a solution that doesn't require the reset of the computer because I don't have an external hard drive to take a backup. Thanks in advance.

Help with Hardware Interrupts

To use Krview, ignore any driver that is part of Windows or that is for the CPU idle thread.
inteppm is for the CPU idle thread, ignore it.
hal and ntkrnlpa are part of Windows, ignore them.
ati2mtag is the first one on the list that is elevated and relevant.
Find out what hardware interrupt it uses and then any device that shares this interrupt could be the problem. It might not be ati2mtag.
If its the video driver, can you use another card?
Putting the computer to sleep might reset things.

 

System Interrupts - Problem or Symptom?

1 If your computer is still supported by its maker, are there any BIOS updates available? They can have significant effects on hardware.

2 Do bear in mind that the excessive** system interrupts problem might be caused by a misbehaving driver rather than an outdated driver. Checking for updates will have no effect in such cases but reinstalling existing drivers might. At the very least, I would suggest reinstalling each third-party driver just to eliminate driver faults as a cause.

3 I agree that stating your system specs could help. If other users recognise particular hardware that causes problems they might be able to suggest solutions or workarounds.

4 Do you have any particularly old hardware that might finally have been rendered fully or partially incompatible with the latest Windows updates?

5 Do have a look at the discussions I linked you to because one of them might help in isolating the cause of the problem.

6 What changes preceded the onset of the problem?

[** System interrupts are normal & they are essential. System interrupts that cause slow system performance by loading its resources are 'excessive' and it is those that my comments refer to.]
