Hi all,

Please help.

I've replaced the drive in my laptop with a SSD, when I've tried to install Windows7 Pro from a bootable USB I have I get the following message:

Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause.

Status: Error 0xc000000d

It advises me to insert a windows boot disc and restart (well I'm trying to install windows on a new disc so there is a boot disc in.

Please help.

I get this error everytime i open my system (windows 7).

I am not able to install new windows from usb due to this error. What should i do? Nothing is working for me

Every time I switch on my laptop it takes me to a black screen which says :

windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. To fix the problem:

1. Insert your windows installation disc and restart your computer.
   
2. Choose, your language settings, and then click "Next."
   
3. Click "Repair your computer.
   

If you do not have this disc, contact your system administrator or computer manufacturer for assistance.
