    Windows Fax and scan and windows 10


    Just got a new computer.

    Windows fax and scan is there in the programs.

    When i try to add the network modem it won't allow me

    It allows me to type the modem location eg \\sbs but when I go to the second page

    to add the name it is all grayed out and won't add the modem with or without adding a name.

Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
