    Windows Fax and Scan error


    My environment is using a hosted share fax on a fax server. Some users are encountering the below error "This fax cannot be sent at this time. Please launch the Compose Form from Windows Fax and Scan and click on New Fax to attach this document to send it out as fax." This happens when the users are trying to send a fax from Adobe reader, pro, MS word, Excel, ext... Systems are using Windows 10 64bit Enterprise from 1803, 1809, 1909. Not all users are affected.

    At 1st I believed the issue was caused by the version of Microsoft shared fax driver but a freshly imaged system running 1909 also encountered this error and it showed to be running driver version 10.0.18362.1082.

    The affected users are still able to send the same fax by going directly to Windows Fax and Scan and composing from there, but not from any other application.

    Hello,

    By default, scans are saved in a Scans folder inside the Pictures. Here are the steps on how to get there:

    • Press Windows and type pictures
    • Click Pictures and double-click the Scans folder.

    Furthermore, we suggest that you repair your Word application by following the steps on this

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
