Windows 10: Windows feedback wont sign in

Wanted to leave feedback about broken parallel port driver but windows feedback app is stuck at the sign in page saying you must sign in to use feedback. Press sign in button it changes colour but does nothing anyone got a fix?

Tried the windowsApp Troubleshooter also a number of times - no improvement

Trying to sign in to any of the 3 results in AppHost error event id 135 followed by 102

it is not even possible to enter the email address - window opens but remains black then closes

using another/new account then all works

already did 2 inplace upgrades over the months but still getting the errors

SFC / DISM run a number of times - no problem

no proxy set

reluctant to change to a new account - would very much prefer to have the current account fixed
