    Hi

    Weird issue. When I try to perform a seach on an external HDD with boolean operators windows file explorer will freeze then crash. Similiarly If I simply go into a folder on an exteral HDD and select a file Sometime it will crash just when I double click on the file. This second issue though doesn't seem to happen consistently across all files which I find bizarre.
    I have tried disabling all start-up programs and the problem still occurs. Also run diagnostic checks on the two HDD I'm using with no problems reported. most files are totally accesbile whilst others aren't while the search issues happens completely consistently.
    Neither issue seems to affect local hard drive.

    File Explorer has gone crazy after last nights upgrade.

    My only has icons instead of full descriptions. I can not get back to a point where I have tabs that actually say something. Please tell me how to get my view repaired? help... Help.... HELP!!!

    Blue Screen of Death - IRQL_UNEXPECTED_VALUE

    The minidump file did not pinpoint the cause but did show the crash seemed to be network related.

    The process that crashed was the IntelTechnologyAccessService.exe which may be significant if that is the process that is consistently crashing.

    Can you provide all the minidump files that are available to see if the error is consistent.

    Also, can you also provide the following file which has more information on the crash:

    C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP

    The memory.dmp file will be quite large, you could zip and compress the memory.dmp file with a third party application such as 7-Zip.
