Discus and support Windows file explorer lags every now and then....... in Windows 10 Network and Sharing to solve the problem; I have D Dell G3 I7 laptop, for a month now the windows lag now and then while switching apps in between or opening a file in it...     Windows file explorer lags every now and then.......


    I have D Dell G3 I7 laptop, for a month now the windows lag now and then while switching apps in between or opening a file in it

    Windows 10 Tweaks

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    File Explorer Scroll Lag

    Hello, I just did this and still the lagging continues. I want to point out that the lag occurs only when I scroll with the mouse, when I click and scroll the lag does not occur.

    I don't use Internet Explorer, I meant the thing where you can look at files etc. Hotkey Windows+E. Maybe it's the wrong name in english though. *Stick Out Tongue Windows file explorer lags every now and then....... :p
