    Windows File Explorer not directing to default locations in Windows 11


    The best way I can describe this problem is by giving an example:I download programs from any browser, and click on the `downloads' folder in the browser. Instead of automatically going straight to the `Downloads' location in File Explorer, it just briefly flashes `Downloads' location for just a second before redirecting straight back to Desktop in File Explorer? It's the same if I search for file or photo. It will briefly show the location before quickly reverting back to the Desktop??I have already tried all suggestions. Any help would be gratefully appreciated. Please do not make any drasti
