    Windows file permissions UI - File Access Denied for Admin - I am the file administrator...


    I'm trying to update metadata on jpg images and mp4 videos using the file explorer properties option. Under file permissions UI ->details tab -> Origin field-set, the "Copyright" property: valueAttempting to update the Copyright field value results in a File Access Denied popup. I am the file administrator with full permissions. Is this a bug, or do I need to do something else? Other field updates are not a problem.I can update the Author URL and Promotion URL but not the Copyright field value with any value without a permissions error.I have the same property access issues on the pr

    cannot access file/or permissions

    I have a file i need to run on Windows 7 Home Premium. I get the error message saying "Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item."

    So I right click and choose Properties to access the permissions but I cannot. In the Security tab I get a message saying, " You do not have permission to view or edit this objects permission settings.".

    Next I boot into the Windows 7 Hidden Administrator Mode - and even with this I get all the same error messages.

    Please help me as I really need to run This file.

    how to delete file on c drive? need permission

    man this i a hassle. i tried like instructed from the link. went to user group to add admin and it just denied access. ill try the file assassin.

    wow this is weird. i reboot and the file is gone! and hdd space is freed! i dont know how it happend but great!
