Discus and support Windows forced an update on my system and since then I can no longer copy a file in... in Windows 10 Network and Sharing to solve the problem; As the title sums it up enough. I cannot do a simple copy file from in explorer to another drive without it creating a 'copy' instead of overwriting...     Windows forced an update on my system and since then I can no longer copy a file in...


    As the title sums it up enough. I cannot do a simple copy file from in explorer to another drive without it creating a 'copy' instead of overwriting the existing file.How do I fix this ?I am tempted to roll back the updates and I did not want them in this first place and actually usually block them.

    Java.nio.file - Copying files

    You can't copy a folder, thats why it generates an exception (you are trying to copy a folder using a copy file function).
    You probably need to list all the files inside that folder and copy one by one

    Windows 10 forced download

    ^This, then reboot and go to manually update windows. Find KB3035583 in the list of available updates, right-click and "Hide this update" so it doesn't get installed again next go around.
