Windows 10: Windows freezes after installation, during post install setup.

I built my son a PC using parts that were upgraded in my PC.Parts ListSU: 700Watt - newCPU: i7-8700GPU: RX 6700XTMOBO: Gigabyte Z390 Gaming X BIOS is up to date - newRAM: 8x2GB Hynix at 2667Mhz SSD: SanDisk SSD PLUS 2TB 2.5" SATA - new, SATA cable is also newI installed Windows via USB. The installation process appears to not have any problems. The problem presents itself after the first boot while Windows is performing its initial setup. I after the first install seemed to have failed I reinstalled but nothing changed. After the second attempt I put the installation media on a different,

had the same problem, freezes and long installation including each step loading, in my case a bios update helped.

 

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

Well problem solved it didn't seem to like the mouse i had plugged in *Big Grin

It takes about 5min for to load each step in the windows setup? The disc drive will stop for about 5min then spin up and finally load? it does this for every step in the setup? very odd.
