Windows 10: Windows freezes after swapping the Nvidia GPU and trying to install the drivers

Hi everyone, I have the following problem: Windows freezes after swapping the Nvidia GPU and trying to install the drivers. I recently removed my AMD GPU from the PC and installed the RTX 4070. Before swapping the hardware, I uninstalled AMD Adrenalin and deleted the drivers using DDU. After I swapped the GPUs, during the first startup, I got into Windows and started installing the Nvidia drivers, but then the system suddenly froze; only the wallpaper was visible, and the PC did not respond Ctrl+Shift+Win+B resolved the black screen for a few seconds, but then I could only see the wallpaper a

Just install the GT730 and boot the computer. Windows will probably install a generic driver for it. Once you log in install the new NVIDIA driver for the GT730. It is that simple.

OK, so if I download the GT730 driver, then install the GT730 GPU in my PC, will the new card automatically start using the new driver? Or do I need to somehow disable the old 210 driver and enable the new GT730 driver? Apologies for the painfully basic questions? This isn't my area. Reason for swapping the GPU is because I'm having problems that are identical (BSODS, screen freezing, won't restart - just black flashing screen after each restart) to when my previous GPU failed. I'm trying to eliminate the GPU that's in now, because it wasn't new when installed and the fan bearings were noisy from the start - so I'm guessing it's high mileage. Thanks again.

Thanks to you both. Will try the new GPU and driver and see how I get on. - - - Updated - - - I have another basic question. I visited the Nvidia site for downloads - Official GeForce Drivers | NVIDIA When I enter my details of my new card and system details in the driver search (Geforce GT730 GPU, Windows 10 64 Bit OS and game ready option) I get a long list of different options for downloads. The top 7 results are for something called 'Geforce Security Update Driver'. Then below these there are several game ready drivers listed. What is a Geforce Security Update Driver? Is this actually just a driver for my new GPU, or something else? Is this the driver I need? Do I pick the top one on the list, ie. the latest version? Or do I need one of the older game ready drivers further down the list. I'm confused by all the options. I'm not really a gamer, but there isn't a browsing and watching porn ready driver listed on the Nvidia site. *Smile Maybe there's a gap in the market. Please help me in my confusion as to which driver download I need.
