    Windows freezing then BSOD. No Minidump files created.


    Windows freezes during normal use of my computer e.g., when opening file explorer, browser, etc. After a while, I get BSOD with the message:"Your device ran into a problem and needs to restart. We're just collecting some error info, and then we'll restart for you....Stop code: CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED"This is most common after startup but can happen any time. The frequency varies, sometimes any time I login.I have enabled Minidump file creation but no files are created after crashes so I cannot get any clues as to why this is happening.How can I get data to start to diagnose this problem?OS Nam

    Random Freezes NO minidump created even though settings match up.

    Hi All,
    Version 20H2 19042.1110

    As you can see by my screenshot, minidump is enabled. And I have a program called bluescreenview. I want to see why my computer crashes all the time but its not causing BSOD or leaving a minidump file, it just freezes and wont respond. I am trying to get it to create a minidump so I can analyze it but no avail, can you see why its not causing a minidump?

    Windows 7 Pro 64 bit Random USB Disconnect + No BSOD Freeze

    blaming Gigabyte board won't solve the problem. I've just fresh installed Windows 7 and first BSOD after 2 freezes without BSOD. Should I be happy now that I actually have a BSOD code to work with? Here it is. I don't know what it means really, can someone decode the error and walk me through how to fix it?
