    "Windows" functionality sometimes fails after booting up.


    Occassionally when booting up, I will look at my desktop and see that all of my desktop shortcuts for Game Pass games are just white pages, which is basically the sign that I know something is wrong.In a nutshell, what I mean by the title is that everything handled by the Windows OS itself, which includes the Settings pages, the Xbox app and Game Pass games, and most frustratingly also includes basics like shutting down the laptop or restarting the laptop by pressing the corresponding button in the start menu, will become almost completely unresponsive. Settings pages won't load, the xbox app

    Windows 10 fails to update


    When you finish testing the Avast suggestion, make sure that you restart your machine.

    Then if the issue persists, please return to the trouble shooting list in post# 89

    I think there are three steps that remain; the WU troubleshooter, reset WU components, and manual WU reset.

    Set Boot up first to the drive with hiren bootcd 10.4
    Done...

    the options will pop out after loading the disc choose

    boot cd

    then the list (step by step)

    Next...
    Dos....
    USB Drivers....
    Load USB Drivers with no386.....

    Ask you load cd drivers. NO
    Ask you load SCSI drivers. NO
    Ask you anything NO.
    USB driver list comes out. 8 Don't choose anything else.

    type
    C:\ (that should be your mp3 player if you did it right)

    atiflash -i
    to list the adapters

    atiflash -p -f 0 ???.bin
