    Take a look at the built in Game Bar. Although it is called "game", it applies to other screen stuff.

    the Game bar lets you record game clips, take screenshots, and even stream your gaming sessions on the internet, for everyone to see.

    Then there are also free and paid 3rd party tools, for example this one I came across (I've never used it myself):'

    If you need to do more "advanced" video recording and editing a MVP I respect recommends Camtisa (paid) :

    Game Bar Issue

    Windows Game Bar is set to record my microphone. My microphone is plugged in, and the Recording Devices menu shows it is picking up sound. However, the Game Bar is not recording the mic

    I tried it in the past and it caused issues. Decided to use MSI Afterburner instead. That was a long time ago so it may have improved now

    It came up on me because it didn't let my XBOX control use USB3.0 I was like what is this garbage hahaha i quickly defused it and moved on it is a jinky app and should only be used by people who use the app store

    It's not intended for real players atleast i hope it isn't

    When GTAV boots up this program always pops up, since I have to go to "Task Manager" to change the prioity of GTAV to "High" I always "End Task" for "Game Bar" myself, to keep the useless programs runing to a minimum !
