Windows 10: Windows getting redacted randomly after maximizing

Dear Microsoft Support.I'm facing a predicament that it's kind of strange but i have not been successful in resolving this issue. Whenever i minimize a program it doesn't actually matter what program. it could be a windows program like file manager or even control panel, or photoshop or etc. after i chose to open them again and maximize them, some part of the said window becomes blacked or redacted if you want to call it! as you can see in the attached screenshot. This problem happens randomly but frequently. I nearly tried every solution which i could get my hands on. i tried updating

Windows won't maximize

Kindly let us know with the following information:

• Is this issue specific to any applications/programs?
• Were you able to see the maximize, minimize and close icons?
• Have you tried to perform these using different user account?

This issue might be due to corrupted/ missing system files.

I suggest you to run System File Checker and check if it helps:

Method 1: Run the SFC.

System File Checker is a utility in Windows that allows users to scan for corruptions in Windows system files and restore corrupted files.

Follow the below steps:

• 
  Right click on the Start button, click on
  Command Prompt (Admin).
  
• 
  Type “sfc /scannow” without quotes and hit
  Enter.
  
• 
  After the scan, restart the computer.
  
• 
  Now check for the issue.

Task Switcher randomly gets stuck cycling windows


Good morning!

I am having an issue with the Task Switcher (see image below) activating on its own. It then begins to cycle through the open tasks very rapidly. When this happens I am unable to actually select any of the tasks, nor can I close them out. Windows is essentially frozen at this point and I have to restart.

A few things to note:

• I am running Windows 10 Pro.
• This happens randomly, sometimes weeks between an incident.
• Sometimes it happens while I am not even working at the computer. I've noticed it after returning to my desk.

Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

 

WIN10 MAXIMIZE ALL WINDOWS

Hi,

Window sizes are set to Normal by default. You may change the default window size of Windows programs by following the steps below:

• Right-click on the Windows shortcut (Ex. Microsoft Edge)
• Click on Properties.
• Click on the Shortcut tab.
• Locate Run:, and then click the down-arrow to change the selected default window size.
• Choose Maximized.
• Click Apply, and then OK.
