Windows 10: Windows getting stuck/freezing at login screen

Hi, I have had an issue for a while now where when I do a cold start I'd say 1/3 of the times once windows gets to the login screen it freezes. Most of the time the background and profile logo loads and then freeze on that but sometimes it loads up until the background appears and then freezes.The freeze doesn't lead to a BOD, if I don't restart it will just stay on the login screen. Only forcing a shutdown from holding the power button is possible and then it usually boots back up just fine, but I had a few times were it still got stuck after and I had to do it a second time.It's important

As said in the title, my windows 10 is stuck at the login screen

Couldn't Hold shift and Restart because for some reason i don't have the shutdown button

It's nearly impossible to interact with the login screen, mouse moves but things don't get highlighted and no matter what you write it hever shows up.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

 

Windows 10 stuck at black screen


hi, i tried upgrading my windows 7, but failed 5 times.
step 1 on copying files are 100%
step 2 installing features n updates are 100%
step 3 FAILED, it stuck on black screen and freeze, nothing i can do besides force restart and its restored to my windows 7 back.

any idea how to solve this? it's always stuck at 75% step 2 and when go to step 3 is freeze ( 5 times in row, i'm thinking give up or buy new laptop with windows 10*Biggrin*Biggrin*Biggrin)

p.s i'm currently downloading ISO file to blank DVD hopefully it's works

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to select the appropriate language in login screen at the bottom right corner and check if it helps.

Steps 2: Use On-screen keyboard in the login screen to login and check if it helps.
