  1. Windows giving two different sign in prompts for same task

So, I have a strange issue where I have a user that is attempting to log into a Windows 365 VM using a local account that they made on the VM. In order to log in, you have to use the web browser or the Microsoft RDP client. We can verify that using the web browser, they can log into the local account by just putting in \localaccountname and the password. However, when we try to use the Microsoft RDP app, it doesn't give them the ability to choose 'More choices' on the Windows Security prompt. I have myself and one other person doing the exact same task, myself on Windows 11 and the other perso

No restart button in task manager

another easy way to kill tasks, download and install Winaero Tweaker(free) and theres a setting to add a Kill non responding tasks using the desktop right click menu. When you place your cursor on the desktop anywhere and right click the option is at the top of the list, Very handy and you dont have to go through all those steps and well Winaero Tweaker has alot of cool Windows tweaks. Just posting a different suggestion, Im sure your ok with what was suggested here.

  3. How to sign in to Windows 10 as different User

    Hi,

There are several ways that you can do to switch between your 2 accounts, such as going through
    Start menu, through Ctrl +
    Alt
    + Delete screen, through Sign-in
screen or through Task Manager. For us to isolate the issue, we would like to ask the following questions:

    • Are you connected to a domain or managed by Windows Server?
    • Have you made any recent changes to your system settings prior to this issue?
    • What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

In the meantime, we suggest that you follow these steps to switch user account:

    • Click/tap on your desktop to make it the current focused (active) window, and press
Alt + F4 keys to open Shut Down Windows window.
    • Click on the drop down menu and select Switch user.
    • You will now be taken to the lock screen to unlock.
    • It will show you the sign-in screen to select and sign in to the account you want to switch to.

We will wait for your response.
