Windows 10: Windows going to sleep even when Intel Burn Test is running

I ran intel burn test, selected maximum, came back 1hr later and the computer had gone to sleep. Resumed the pc (hit a key on the keyboard), logged back in, intel burn test was still open and the cpu was at 100% (stress test continued to run). I thought this was a one off, but I did another stress test today, and the exact same thing happened, pc went to sleep. I have no idea whats going on. In the past with a previous intel pc build I cant recall this ever happening, usually the cpu being active keeps the pc awake

Any suggestions, other than to disable sleep whilst stress testing? Thanks.

Windows power plan: set to windows balanced (stock settings)

Computer Specs :

Amd Ryzen 3700x cpu ~ stock

x570 aorus master motherboard @ stock with xmp enabled (bios f11)

16gb ddr4 crucial ballistix memory @ stock xmp (3200mhz)

msi 2080ti graphics card @ stock

how long to run prime 95 or intel burn test

10 runs of Intel Burn Test you are good to go. On my E8400 5 runs at it was 90% stable

 

Burning Files To cdr

I tried to drag a .txt file to the burn list, as suggested above, but it will not drop in. I get a message "+add to burn list" but I cannot get it to drop into the burn list. Is there another step I am missing?

I suggest you to follow the steps below:

• Press Windows + R to open run command.
• Type shell:CD burning.
• Then if any Temporary burn folder is there,delete it and then try burning the DVD and check.
