Windows 10: Windows handwriting not outputting text

I am using the language "English United States" which has handwriting support. When I try to use handwriting, my handwriting turns into text in the handwriting panel but it does not turn into text anywhere else. For example, when I select the search bar for google or any application, my handwriting turns into text in the handwriting panel while no text shows up on the search bar. How do I fix this?

Help! I have a Surface Pro 3 with the latest fast ring build of Windows 10. My problem is this. When I use handwriting recognition I often get duplicate text in the output. For example, in handwriting I might write "I am having trouble with handwriting,"
and the recognition turns out "I am having trouble with rouble with handwriting with handwriting." That is, parts of the text I wrote in handwriting gets duplicated. This happens in a variety of programs including Word 2016. It has also happened in many
different builds of Windows 10. Can anyone help? My system is up to date and all the correct drivers seem to be installed (I can't find any errors in device manager).

• What is the make and model number of your laptop?
  
• Do you want to write in Thai and change the text to English?
  

Meanwhile, I would suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below:

1. Right click on Start and select Control Panel
   
2. Select Clock, Language and Region and then select Language
   
3. Click on Options next to your selected system language
   
4. Click on Personalize handwriting recognition to open Handwriting recognition wizard
   
5. Use Target specific recognition errors to tell Windows how you write a specific word or letter or help recognize characters with similar shapes

Handwriting panel issue - text not being displayed

It's really odd that the handwriting panel isn't showing any display or text when you write something to it. Let's isoalte your concern by answering these following questions:

• Were there any changes made on the computer prior to your concern?
• When was the last time you were able to use the handwriting panel without any issues?
• What have you done so far to resolve the issue?
