    Windows has strange behavior when waking up from sleep mode


    So yesterday I got a new laptop, a Lenovo Ideapad 5 15IIL05 and I absolutely love the thing. So far I have had no issues except for one thing, whenever it wakes up from sleep mode it starts having weird behavior. Taskbar icons disappear, task manager doesn't work, most shortcut keys stop working, shutting down hangs the system, notifications don't show up, and overall most things just quit working right. I have no idea why this happens because this has never happened on any other computer that I use, and the only way to get the thing working again is to force shut it down. I don't know if it's caused by a bad setting or if some of the preinstalled Lenovo apps are causing issues, but if anyone knows how I can fix it, help would be appreciated.

    Sleep Problems - Strange wake up behaviors


    Hey, thanks for the suggestion! I went into my BIOS and neither "MSI Fast Boot" or "Fast Boot" were enabled. I took a few pictures of the BIOS config and of the power-related options, and attached them below.

    Weird behavior in sleep mode in windows 10

    Hi

    I am using Windows 10 I face weird behavior when using the sleep mode here are the steps:

    1. Connect PC to wireless network from mobile phone (iPhone).

    2. Go to sleep mode from windows.

    3. Turn off the hot spot from mobile.

    Result: the PC started right away (wake up from sleep mode).

    Expected result: PC should remain in sleep mode.
