Windows 10: Windows Hello bypasses account selection screen

I have separate personal and work profiles set up on my laptop. The personal profile logs in automatically using Hello face recognition, the work profile uses a PIN.

Annoyingly, when the laptop boots, if it recognises my face, it bypasses the account selection screen and logs me straight into the personal profile. The only way I can get around (and get into the work profile) it is physically blocking the camera.

Is there a way to force Windows to still show the account selection screen first, then use Hello to log in, if I select the personal profile? I tried unchecking "Automatically dismiss the lock screen if Windows recognizes your face." but that just adds a step to logging into the profile after Hello has recognised me, it doesn't allow me to get back to the account selection screen.

Ways to bypass the login theme and signin do not work

Tried setting netplwiz in option 1 step 4 which shows no check in users must enter ..... no bypass of login

Tried step 4 in option 5 below to disable require sign-on on wakeup via policy via registry but still no change on wakeup still getting the screen picture that requires hitting Esc to move to the sign in window which shows a silhouette image, my user name and a sign in button in order to access my desktop screen. Guess I will have to live with the extra steps.

I suggest you try to login using the onscreen keyboard and enter your credential carefully and check if that helps. Follow the below steps to use on screen keyboard.

1. Select the Ease of Access
   button in the lower-right corner of the sign-in screen.
   
2. Select On-Screen Keyboard.

Edge Search Does Not Permit Change of Region


I got these suggestions from the Microsoft Community forum.No. 1 worked for me:

Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community. I am glad to assist you on this.
We have reproduce the issue here and we are able to access non-regional search for google using Microsoft Edge.
I would suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.
Step 1:
Clear browsing data option of Microsoft Edge and check if you face the issue. To do so perform the steps below.

1. Click on the More actions icon next to the feedback icon present on top right corner of the Project Spartan homepage.
2. Select Settings and click on Choose what to clear.
3. Check the boxes Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files and click on Clear.

Step 2:
I suggest you to create a new user account and check if the issue occurs.

1. Go to Settings.
2. Choose Accounts and then select Family and other users.
3. Select add someone else on this PC.
4. Enter a user name and hit next.
5. Click on Finish.
6. Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.

Step 3:
It could also happen because of network issue. I suggest you to try with different network connection and check if it helps.
