Windows 10: Windows Hello Face ID not working

Hi, I just boughta dell XPS 13 9305 and in the Windows hello settings it says "We couldnt find a camera compatible with Windows Hello Face"Does this mean that this laptop doesnt have it or that it won't recognise the camera?Thanks

I would like to know the error code you receive when trying to login using Windows Hello Face ID.



Meanwhile, I would suggest you to try re-installing the Camera drivers on your PC and see if that helps. Refer the article

Windows Hello face id not working

Windows Hello Face ID setup is not working even though the camera and IR blaster is working. I'm bemused by the situation.

When I go to the face id setup for it to scan my face, the prompt saying "make sure your face is centered" just lingers there without showing the white box and white dots to telegraphing your face to be able to recognize your face for the next upcoming time.

The computer I'm using is a ASUS ZenBook UX333FA - AB77

Windows Build : Windows 10 Pro - Version 1903 (OS build 18362.418)

I tried to edit group policy method, local machine method(AllowPINLogon, set value to 1),

remove the initial setup (as it was working before, before I restarted the computer as it said "couldn't use camera"), when the reboot happened. I'm just asking for help, because I just got the computer a week ago and every should be up to par.
