Windows 10: Windows Hello Figerprint never works on sign in, but works fine after.

Figerprint Reader: Benss Portable Security Key Biometric Fingerprint ScannerMicrosoft Windows 10 Education x64 Build 19045.27It worked fine in the beginning, but recently I always run out of the 3 tries and have to input my long password. However, when I use it to sign in to other programs within windows, it works fine. I have fast boot disabled, I have usb power saver disabled, I enabled the biometrics in group policy, I have tried to set different fingers multiple times, same results.

My hello sign in stopped working.

Windows Hello not working.

I only noticed this after the most recent update, but not sure that is the cause. I've followed some fix suggestions like removing/reinstalling the Hello driver and the IR front camera driver, but that has not solved the problem. When I go to the sign-in options I see the message "Windows Hello is preventing some options from being shown".

Thanks for helping with the suggestions. Below is my comment

• Could locate Facial Recognition under sign-up options but no option to remove. Only set-up
• Don't have gpedit on my Home Windows 10 version
• Updated the Imaging device driver but doubt that is the issue
• I see Windows 10 version 1709 for x86 based systems (KB 4041994) installed but cannot uninstall it

Also the issue is similar to this Redirecting in that I see the same error code and typed the icals and takedown
command but after restartit still does not work. When I use the PIN in the sign-up or using Hello it says "This request not supported"
