Windows 10: Windows hello fingerprint not working on fresh boot

Discus and support Windows hello fingerprint not working on fresh boot in User Accounts and Family Safety to solve the problem; fingerprint reader is not working on fresh boot...it will only work if i restart or wake up after sleep the fingerprint is in the sign in option but...     Windows hello fingerprint not working on fresh boot


    fingerprint reader is not working on fresh boot...it will only work if i restart or wake up after sleep
    the fingerprint is in the sign in option but reader is not working
    after restart or wake up the fingerprint reader is working fine..
    for additional info i am not using battery
    please help me..

    Hello. This week I had to reinstall Windows 10 on Dell E5530 again. I never deleted fingerprints from Dell software DDP | Security Tools before reinstall earlier. This time I deleted all fingerprints and then perform a clean install of Windows, installed
    fingerprint driver and tried Windows Hello to enroll my fingerprint. And it worked.

    I don't know if it work because of deletion of fingerprints before Windows reinstall or MS has fixed something, but I'm glad now I can enroll index and middle finger using Windows Hello.

    Maybe it will be usable to someone.

    Can i use External Fingerprint reader to use Windows Hello in Windows 10.

    I have a question of Windows Hello Fingerprint readers I was wanting to know if I buy an external fingerprint reader will that fingerprint reader work with Windows Hello? Please respond ASAP I want to get more advanced tech for my PC!
