Windows 10: Windows Hello Fingerprint recognition "This option is currently unavailable"

Device: Flex 5-14ALC05 Laptop ideapad - Type 82HU running Windows 11 22H2I have run into this issue twice now, I am unable to set up the fingerprint recognition. The first time this happened, I tried reinstalling drivers to no avail. However, after a week I was randomly given the option to set up a fingerprint on the sign-in screen. After setting one up, I was able to use my fingerprint for a week before losing access to it and the "This option is currently unavailable" message was displayed in settings. The second time this happened, I decided to reset my PC and it worked, I was able to set

The options for facial recognition, fingerprint recognition, and PIN all display the same message of "This option is currently unavailable"

How do I make these options available again? They all worked before but don't anymore

 

Windows Hello sign-in options currently unavailable

I can't set up, remove or modify my Windows Hello sign-in option. It says "this option is currently unavailable" for face recognition, fingerprint recognition and PIN. When I clic on any of these options, it says "Something went wrong. Try again later". This has been going on for 3 months now, so trying "later" is definitely not working. What can I do?
