Windows 10: Windows Hello for confirming user identity after account selection instead of immediately

TLDR: Is there any way to have Windows Hello switched on for confirming a user identity after a user has been selected, but not immediately when the sign-on screen appears? Context: I need frequent access to the local Administrator account but also have my personal account for everyday use. I like using Windows Hello facial recognition to log in to the latter, but when I'm trying to log in to the Administrator account instead Windows Hello recognizes my face and logs me in to my personal account without giving me a chance to select the other account. Windows 10 user account immediately logs out

• If you have tried the steps provided above, is issue still persisting?
• What was the result of SFC scan? Did it find corruption or not?

Try to create new user profile as an administrator and see if issue persists in new user profile. For creating new user profile you may refer to the steps provided below.

• 
  Press Windows key + R
  
• 
  Type control userpasswords2 and click OK
  
• 
  Click on add under users tab
  
• 
  Click the option, "Sign-in without a Microsoft account
  
• 
  Click on Local account
  
• 
  Choose a name for the account

In order to help you better, could you please confirm a couple of things:

• How have you upgraded to Windows 10?
• Are you able to find the other users in accounts option?

To test the issue I suggest you to create a new user account and restart the computer and check whether you can find other new user account.

I suggest you to create a new user account and check if the issue occurs.

• Go to Settings.
• Choose Accounts and then select Family and other users.
• Select add someone else on this PC.
• Enter a user name and hit next.
• Click on Finish.
• Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.

Installing Applications to Select User Accounts

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

I understand that you are trying to avoid the access of all the application in all users. We will help you try resolving this issue.

I suggest you to check while installing any software it gives an option to install on all users or any particular user only.

However this would be application specific to manufacturer.

You can try following the below steps also and check if it helps.

• When you install the software or an application, it makes a shortcut or copy to the public folder where all the users can access the application.
• Open C:\ Drive and select Users.
• Select Public, select the files which you don't want to be used by other users and delete the files or Cut and paste in Admin account folder.

Note: To perform this steps be logged into Admin user.
