Windows 10: Windows Hello is not working

Hello. I need help trying to set up my fingerprint on my laptop. I have the scanner and it was working before and all of a sudden it stopped. It says there is something wrong with Windows Hello. It does not let me remove the fingerprint option. As you can see in the photo shown below. I don't know what to do. Can someone help me? Why is the option unavailable when I've used it before. The other picture shows when I try to click on it, its void.

My hello sign in stopped working.

• Is there an error message displayed when using Windows Hello?

• Click the Start button and select the Settings
  icon.
• Choose Accounts from the list.
• Select Sign-in options in the left pane of the window.
• Under Windows Hello, kindly check the status of it.

Windows Hello not working properly
