    Windows Hello lock screen won't auto dismiss after waking up from sleep on KB5037771


    It works when I power the PC on after a shut down or restart but not after waking up from sleep and it asks to manually dismiss the lockscreen. I've had this problem before and fixed it by allowing the computer to turn off devices to save power on all my USB ports from the device manager, I think maybe the webcam needed to be turned off everytime to autodismiss properly? Regardless, this method no longer works after the update.I've tried the following:1. Checked webcam drivers are up to date Logitech BRIO 4K.2. Checked the autodismiss option is enabled on sign-in settings.3. Added and set Au

    Hi Polly,

    To be able to lock your screen while on Sleep mode, you can follow these steps:

    • Press the Windows key.
    • Type Sign in and hit
      Enter.
    • Select the option When PC wakes up from sleep under Require Sign-in.
