Windows 10: Windows hello logged in when I was not in view of the camera.

This is a seemingly small error but I believe it could be used as a way to login to someone's device.

Before, I was in camera view and I was about 2 feet away, so it didn't log is, as I was too far. I moved to go get something, moving myself 100% out of the camera's view, and it logged in without being able to see me.

Wondering if this is a one time occurrence, or a possible problem with windows hello/the camera?

This occurred on a Windows Surface Pro (2018 model)

Follow the below methods and check if it helps.

Method 1: Run the Hardware and Devices Troubleshooter.

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with hardware and devices. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with the Bluetooth adapter. Refer these steps:

• Press Windows key + X, select Control panel.
• Change the view by option on the top right to
  Large icons.
• Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel.
• Run the Hardware and devices troubleshooter.
• Restart your computer and check if the issue is resolved.
  

I also suggest you to install the latest drivers from the manufacturer website and check if it helps,
