Windows 10: Windows Hello not detecting integral Camera on Surface Pro

I have a brand-new Surface but the settings say that a compatible camera cannot be detected. It should work but cannot figure out how to sort it out.

Surface Pro 3 integrated cameras not working

I am using a Surface Pro 3 updated to Windows 10. I tried using my integrated camera through the camera app, but every time I open the app, I get " Something went wrong If you need it, here's the error code: 0xA00F4273(0xA00F4273)"

I have tried to update the driver, and I have ran two different troubleshooters in the control panel (Hardware and Devices and Windows Stores Apps). Hardware and Devices twice came up with "Hardware changes may not have been detected... Fixed". Windows Store
Apps couldn't find a problem. I also have seen that others who have a similar issue were advised to uninstall and reinstall the camera app, but in each case it did not resolve the issue, so I am not trying to go that route. What other steps can I take to resolve
this issue?

windows hello cannot detect camera

We need to investigate further so that we can identify the cause of the issue. We suggest checking for driver updates for your camera and see if it helps. Follow the steps below:

• Type Device Manager on Start/Cortana.
• Click on Imaging devices.
• Right click Integrated Camera or the name of your camera.
• Select Update Software or Properties >
  Driver Update Driver.

2. Go to Start menu and select Camera app.
3. Check if the camera is working fine.
