Windows 10: Windows Hello not recognizing Brio webcam

I just purchased a Brio specifically to use with Windows Hello, but WH isn't recognizing it - that section says the option is currently unavailable. I've been using a PQI mini fingerprint scanner for several months without a problem. I'm running Windows 10 Pro 2004.

The camera works in the Logitech Capture and Logitech Camera Settings apps, and the Brio firmware update tool says it is up to date with version 2.2.

I also went to Windows Update and installed the Logitech - Image - 8/28/2017 12:00:00 AM - 1.0.85.0 driver, which as it was installing was referred to as a USB driver, but I didn't catch the exact name at that time - the name I'm providing is from the View Update History page. When the install completed, Windows Update said I needed to restart, which I did, but when I went back to WU it initially said it had run into a problem installing the update and would try again later. However, when I then told WU to check for new updates it said I was up to date and did show any additional updates, and the driver now appears in View Update History, which says the update was successfully installed.

I've tried uninstalling the camera from Device Manager and then restarting/reinstalling, enabling and disabling anti-spoofing in gpedit/Computer Configuration/Administrative Templates/Windows Components/Biometrics/Facial Features and rebooting after each change, and checking for any services that weren't running as per the solution on this page, all to no avail. (As for the services, I found the Logi FaceCam Service as well as a Logitech Video Camera Service, both of which were already running, but there was no Personify service. When I looked through the list for any related to "camera, images, pictures, or stream", there were none aside from native Windows services and Office Click-To-Run.)

Any other suggestions?

Logitech BRIO webcam

Does anyone have the Logitech BRIO webcam?

If so, how well does Windows Hello facial recognition work with it for you?

My old Creative/Intel Realsense F200 webcam died on me, and was looking at this one for a replacement.

 

Logitech BRIO not working with Hello after upgrade

Just upgraded to Creators Update (1703) and there were no errors during the install but now my Logitech BRIO camera is not working with Windows Hello.

I can see the camera listed in device manager with no errors and it works in Skype but at the logon screen it says that no camera is available. I tried turning Hello off and on again but that didn't help.Also tried different USB ports but that didn't help either.

There is a Logitech KB about this but it didn't fix my issue:

Has anyone else had this problem and been able to fix it?
