Windows 10: Windows Hello Problem After Windows Update 1903

Hi,

I have an HP ProBook 440 G4. I have been informed that the support for the Windows 10 version 1803 will be terminated starting this November 2019, therefore I decided to upgrade to "Windows 10 version 1903". After that, Windows Hello stopped working.

I have tried the update last June 2019 and decided to go back to the old version of my Windows due to the same problem (One of your people, specifically, Andre Da Costa; an Independent Consultant, Windows Insider MVP and Windows & Devices for IT MVP, suggested that I should go back to the old version of my Windows and wait for the update to mature with its cumulative update).

I was expecting that this bug should have been fixed already. Do you have any solution for this? I have tried almost all the suggestions on the internet, and nothing worked.

Windows Update keeps failing!

Hi,

I had once a similar issue like yours, i.e. not able to update Windows 7. What I did to solve the problems is:

- go to control panel, then to "Troubleshouting" > "System and Security" > "Fix problems with Windows update" > click "Advanced" > choose "Apply repairs automatically".

And Windows will start detecting the issues and will repair "Windows update components". The problems should be fixed now, close the program, restart the PC, and see if the mentioned steps have fixed the problems you mentioned.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

Windows updates...

Oh. Your "Registry" must have gotten screwed up FLY3R. If for some reason you couldn't download your updates I suppose you could go to the update site, and run throught the steps 'till it fails activation. Then you could go up to "Tools > Manage Add ons > then disable "Windows Genuine Advatage Validation Tool." Of course you should only use this method if you are having problems updating your legitamate copy of Windows XP. Perhaps do to a corrupted piece of software? *Smile
