    Windows Hello setup freezes with a blank screen after clicking "Set up"


    I am trying to setup Windows Hello Face recognition for the first time with a new Hello compatible web cam that I just got. It is a Nexigo Hellocam highly rated on Amazon. When I click on "Set up" under "Windows Hello Face" in the "Sign-in options" page in accounts setup, I see a blank white window with the window title "Windows Hello Setup" and nothing else. It just sits there forever until I close it. The camera does not appear to turn on.I tested the camera using the camera app and it works fine in that app.I am running Windows 10 22H2.I have verified that my TPM is enabled in my BIOS

    Screen goes blank after changing BIOS settings/

    I don't know how long this has been happening, a few weeks at least, but whenever I change a setting in my BIOS (and save & exit), my screen goes blank and my monitor goes into standby. Any suggestions to fix this?

    Thanks for your suggestions.

    BTW its not this computer which is the Surface Pro4 set up by Best Buy Geek squad last week and working just fine.

    All your suggestions are pure goobledygook to me.

    As I said I have a blank screen rendering the computer unsuable - no taskbar, no "roll-back" possibility, no nothing.

    Sorry but a trifle frustrated here with a problem which I have no idea how to even approach, never mind resolve.

    And I really do not have the time for this either.

    I am using my computer by clicking on "user", using the mouse to raise the picture then getting a blank screen.

    I then do Alt Control Delete get the blue screen with the list including "task manager" clicking on that and somehow getting to a screen with "desktop" in the menu and then choosing a programme from the desktop list. All this remaining in a small window
    which I then enlarge.

    Not why I updated to Windows 10!!!

    BTW my Windows 7 was working just fine with no glitches or hassles.

    THIS IS A BIG PROBLEM FOR ME!!!
