    Windows Hello Slowing Down


    I have a surface Pro 2017 and after every update my windows hello login seems to slow down. A couple weeks back I did a fresh start and the windows hello login worked perfectly. Now it's back to being slow. Does anyone know why this occurs?

    Hello,

    Slow PC performance can be caused by several factors. Since you are aware of the issue's source, we suggest that you run the
    Maintenance task. This will help you in checking and resolving any issues that is causing your device to slow down. Here are the steps:

    • Press Windows + X.
    • Select Control Panel.
    • Select Troubleshooting.
    • Click on Run maintenance task under System and Security.

    If the issue is still not resolved, feel free to let us know and we'll assist you further.

    To resolve this camera issue for your Windows Hello, we suggest that you run Hardware and Device troubleshooter. Refer to the following steps:

    • Click on 'search' and select 'settings' and type 'Troubleshooting' and select 'Troubleshooting'
    • Click on 'Hardware and Sound' and select 'Hardware and 'Devices' and click on next to run the troubleshooter.
