Windows 10: Windows Home Edition License DVD key lost

Hello,It looks I lost my DVD with license key for Windows 10 Home Edition OEM. I have never installed it. I do have a proof of purchase from seller. Is there any way I can get a new key for free?Regards,Matja

Step 1: I suggest you to run the
Hardware and Devices troubleshooter by following the steps below and check if the issue is resolved.

• Press Windows icon key on the keyboard, type Troubleshooting and select the top most search result.
• Click on View all from left side panel of the screen.
• Select Hardware and Devices, click on
  Advanced option and check Apply repairs automatically
  option.
• Follow the on screen instructions.

Step 2: If the issue persist, I suggest you to uninstall the
DVD/CD drivers from the device manager by following the steps below and check if the issue is resolved.

• Press Windows icon key on the keyboard, type device manager and select the top most search result.
• Expand DVD/CD ROM drives, right click on the driver and select
  Uninstall option.
• Restart the PC for the Windows to install the DVD/Cd drivers automatically and check if the changes are effective.

Lost My windows key or digital license

i lost my hd. mobo and processor on my old pc.. i bought a new pc today. and i'm trying to recovery my serial key or my digital license..but can't find how to do it.. already try some steps given but cant find where my digital license is or my windows
serial key is..not sure wich one i have...

The repair shops will sometimes install Windows 10 Pro, while most times, your computer came with a license for Windows 10 Home.

To find out if you have the right edition installed:

Click Start > Settings > Update & security > Activation > Edition.

If its not the right edition, then you will have to download, create a bootable copy then install the correct edition.

If it is the right edition, then you can update product key values:

Click Start > Settings > Update & security > Activation > Change
the product key then enter the new product key then click Next to Activate
