Windows 10: Windows iCloud - Stuck Uploading Files

After a windows update 2 weeks ago my icloud, which was working well before this, stop syncing files. I have tried logging out and logging back in. I wiped my windows installation and reinstalled the iCloud app through the windows store. According to the iCloud Drive Log this is the errors I receive[13476 @ Fri Sep 01 2023 23:07:18.649] 12896 ERROR BRC::IconDownloadOp:ownloadCompleteForRecord Error Encountered an error fetching records: Error fetching record com.apple.CloudDocscom.apple.CloudDocs.container-metadata from server: Record not found: 11,2003: cd=3,ce=0,se=3: Record not found

Could you please help me with the below questions:

1. Are you aware of making any changes to the computer prior to the issue?
   
2. Do you receive any error message when the spinner stops?
   

I suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below:

Method 1: Uninstall iCloud application.


I would suggest you to Sign out from the iCloud account from the app, then uninstall the application.

1. Press Windows
   and R key together on your Keyboard.
   
2. Type appwiz.cpl and hit enter.
   
3. Select the iCloud application and click on Uninstall.
   

Method 2: Reinstall iCloud application.


Step 1:

I would suggest you to ‘Download
the latest version of iCloud’
from the apple website. Follow the Onscreen instructions and install the application. For more information, check the article on
Set up and use iCloud for Windows.


Step 2:

Once the installation is completed, tap on the Windows key on your keyboard, search for ICloud app. Right click on the app and click on
Pin to taskbar.

If you are using Surface PC, I would suggest you to follow steps mentioned in the Microsoft article about
Using Surface with iPhone, iCloud,
and iTunes.

How to Upload Folders of Photos to Albums on iCloud?

I'm trying to determine the best way to migrate multiple folders of photos on Windows 10 to iCloud.

Currently, I'm copying each folder of photos to the iCloud Photos\Uploads folder, which successfully uploads the photos to iCloud, however, the photos do not appear in albums and are therefore no longer grouped.

Is there a way to upload a folder of photos so that it appears in an album on iCloud, or do I have to manually create the album and move the photos into it after uploading?

Also, after uploading the folder of photos, should I delete the folder from the Uploads folder?
