Windows 10: Windows II Pro 23H3 - Xbox Wireless Adapter for Elite Series II suddenly stopped pairing...

As the title says - I have done ever single trouble shooting guide within this forum for Microsoft, Reddit, Steam, you name it, that relates to trying to get my Elite Series II controller to re-pair it was fine a week ago and worked perfectly for the last year since i bought the Elite Series II and now nothing will work to get it to pair with the Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows. This is my second Elite Series II over the years and they have both worked fine until what ever update stuffed up the paring recently.I have tried every variant of reinstalling drivers for the Xbox Wireless Adapter

Xbox Wireless Adapter not going into pairing mode on PC

I have been using the Xbox Wireless Adapter with an Xbox controller on my PC with no issues. Today I bought an Xbox Elite Controller and wanted to pair it with my wireless adapter. However, pressing the pair button on the wireless adapter does nothing and it does not light up or go into pairing mode. It has the latest updated drivers, and still works with my original Xbox controller. The only thing it can't seem to do is turn on pairing mode.

Any advice is appreciated.
