  1. Windows IIS 6.0 issues not Writing to BadMail folder

Hello, We are running Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard, Version 6.3.9600 Build 9600. Running IIS 6 SMTP server to send out emails. Prior to 8/1/2024, it would capture all undelivered emails and save them to c:\Inetpub\MailRoot\BadMail folder. After 8/1/2024, it never saved anymore undelivered emails. We checked the folder permission and give full access to "Everyone", but it still would not save to that Badmail folder. we changed the folder to c:\Temp\BadMail, and give full access to everyone, and it still would not save the undelivered emails. We tested the smtp by sending emails to invalid ema

Add IIS 6 features on Windows 10 1909 results in error 0x800f0922

    Hi,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

I understand that you are receiving an error when trying to add IIS 6 features in Windows 10 1909 build.

Let us try a couple of troubleshooting steps and see if that helps. I would suggest you to try running the
    Windows Update
    Troubleshooter
    and see if that helps.

You can also try disabling the anti-virus program and see if that helps.

    Note:
If you disable the security software or firewall, the system might be temporarily exposed to security threats and risks. Please make sure to turn it on after performing the steps.

If this doesn’t work, you can try running the DISM command and see if that helps. Refer the steps mentioned
    below:

    1. Type command prompt in the search bar on the Taskbar.

    2. Right click on the command prompt icon and select Run as Administrator.

    3. Type/paste the following commands and hit Enter:

      dism /online /Enable-Feature /FeatureName:IIS-IIS6ManagementCompatibility /all

      dism /online /Enable-Feature /FeatureName:IIS-Metabase /all

However, we do have a dedicated forum for issues related to IIS, let me point you in the right direction. I
would suggest you to post your query in
    TechNet forums
, where you will find support professionals with expertise on IIS to assist you with the appropriate details.

Install Aoe II disc write error

I assume that the subject of your question should be "write error" rather than "read error"

I also assume that you have plenty of room on your C:\ drive

    Take a look at C:\Program Files (86).

    • Does C:\Program Files (86)\Microsoft Games exist?
    • Does C:\Program Files (86)\Microsoft Games\Age of Empires II exist?
    • C:\Program Files (86)\Microsoft Games\Age of Empires II\Data exist?
    • Are there files in any of the above folders?

Right-click on the installer (setup.exe, perhaps?) and select "Run as administrator" and see if that helps.

Or, if you're using Steam, see
    https://www.partitionwizard.com/partitionmanager/steam-disk-write-error.html
    but ...

    • In the section "Steam Disk Write Error Fix Provided by Users" ignore #3 and if you want to check your disk do not download anything.
    • In the section "Official Steam Troubleshooting" I wouldn't consider anything past #6 (and if you try #9 anyway, do yourself a favor and do NOT install drivers offered by Windows Update, at least for Windows 7)

Windows IIS 6.0 issues not Writing to BadMail folder

How To Format A Write Protected Flash Memory ?

    ¿You already tried this one?...

    Run CMD

    1. diskpart
    2. list disk

Then in the 3º step, put the correct number of disk in the list for the usb flash (if it's listed in disk 3, then you'll have to write select disk 3).

    2. select disk #
    3. clean
    4. create partition primary
    5. select partition 1
    6. active
    7. format fs=fat32
    8. assign
    9. exit

with that commands you will format the flash drive in fat32, if you have a large drive you can select also "format fs=ntfs" in step 7.

    good luck!
