  1. Windows Image Viewer settings

I just got a Nikon 3500 and uplodaded my pictures from my camera onto my computer.

I am currently using the regular Windows 10 image viewer (The one with blue mountains, background and a sun). Everytime I view a photo it shows the regular photo. But after a second or two the viewer changes the brightness and contrast of the photo automatically. If the photo is too bright, it darkens it and vice versa. I want to edit these photos myself and some of these photos are intentionally dark. This makes it really hard for me to decide which pictures I want to edit and upload online since it temporarily changes what the original photo looks like. Can this be turned off?
