Windows 10: Windows incoming mail bouncing to trash folder

I recently completely restored my computer and downloaded Windows 10. I set up the Windows 10 Mail product without difficulty. After one month of working without a problem, all of the sudden incoming emails are randomly being shunted to my trash folder just spontaneously. Some have been opened by me and were sitting in the inbox. Some were not opened by me but nonetheless ended up in the box. Before you reply - these are the steps that I have taken to try to correct the issue. 1) made sure that no filters were listed 2) made sure that my inbox shows ALL emails, not just unread emails 3) changed my password 4) made sure that the server is not deleting these immediately. 5) No one else is accessing my email and I see no evidence of hacking. After two weeks of working on this, I see no improvement. It's a huge annoyance.


I have read many many entries on many threads regarding this same issue - it seems to affect users of yahoo (me), hotmail, outlook, etc. Would someone from microsoft please acknowledge this issue and provide assistance.

To delete multiple e-mails together, kindly follow the steps given below:

• Open Trash folder in Mail app.
• Click on Selection Mode icon on the top right of the Mail list.
• Check all the mail that you want to delete. Select all mail to empty
  Trash folder.
• Click on the Delete icon on the top right of the Mail list after selecting the mails.

Hi

Do you mean to say there is no "delete all" with out having to check each box.

Which may be ok for half a dozen emails.

But when you have 100 its a bit of a drag.

Think I'll return to thunderbird.

in the Mail Application, where are these folders, Sent & Trash ?

Sorry if I am posting this to the wrong Support Group, but;;;;;

When I am using Windows 10 Mail, where are these folders,
Sent & Trash Folders?

I have added the{Sent Mail} folder a few Minutes ago to the List of Folders.

Do I have to do the Same with the "Trash" Folder ?

I thought & feel these were are Very important folders to have in Mail, Why have they been Excluded
is My Second Question
