Windows 10: Windows Ink writing is offset not in the right place

So I've been using Windows Ink for a while and apparently, it's just showing me my handwriting below the textbox now without showing the panelI've already tried restarting, and that hasn't workedDoes anyone know what is going on?Is it a driver or a faulty configuration?Configuration without device name, device id, and product id from settingsrocessor 12th Gen IntelR CoreTM i5-12600K 3.70 GHz Installed RAM 16.0 GB 15.8 GB usable System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor Pen and touch Pen support

Bamboo ink worked previously but stopped

I would like to ask you few questions regarding the issue to get a better clarity.

1. What is the make and model of the computer and the bamboo ink pen?
   
2. Were there any changes made to the computer?
   
3. Is it functioning well except writing, or is it completely not working?
   

I will suggest you few simple troubleshooting steps, kindly follow the below.

Method 1: Restart Services.

• Press Windows + R to launch the Run application. Type “services.msc” in the dialogue box and press Enter.
  
• Navigate through the services named “TabletServiceWacom” and “Wacom Professional Service”. Right-click it and select “Restart”.
  

Method 2: Refer the article which briefs you with few more steps.

Unable to use Windows Ink

1. Are you using Windows ink for the first time?
   
2. What is the make and model of the pen?

Also, I suggest you to try the steps mentioned below and check if that helps.



Method 1:



Enable Windows Ink Workspace to use the pen. To enable Windows Ink Workspace right click on the
taskbar and select show Windows Ink Workspace button. Also, you can refer the article on

Use Windows Ink.



Method 2:



Enable the Windows Ink Workspace from registry.



Note:
Important this section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you follow these steps carefully. For added protection,
back up the registry before you modify it. Then, you can restore the registry if a problem occurs.

How to back up and restore the registry in Windows.

1. Press Windows key + R. This will open
   Run. Alternatively, you can go to Start and search for Run.
   
2. In Run dialog box, type
   regedit and hit enter.
   
3. In the navigation pane, locate the following registry subkey:
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\WindowsInkWorkspace
   
4. In the right pane, look for
   AllowWindowsInkWorkspace.
   
5. Right click on the registry key and click on
   delete.
   
6. Close the registry editor.
   
7. Restart the PC.

Bamboo ink paired but not writing

Hi Blianka, thanks for your question. I'm Graeme, a Microsoft Community expert and fellow user.

I'd suggest seeing if Windows Ink works. You can try writing in the Windows Ink Workspace sticky notes to see if the Bamboo Ink works at all.

If that doesn't work, please let me know and if possible provide a screenshot of the error you're experiencing, and I'll see what else we can try.
