    Windows Insider 17711 will not upgrade


    Hi


    I'm currently running Insider Build 17711 and since this version has installed I haven't been able to get off it. Starting from 17713, hitting the restart button (or Update and Restart from the Start Menu) simply restarts the device. No update is attempted on either the shutdown or start-up of the machine


    The update being installed changes. I've tried restarting for 17713, 17730, 17733 and now 17735. Always the machine performs a simple restart


    I have emptied the WU cache, tried a manual install, offered a sacrifice, but nothing has worked and I'm about to lose my mind


    Can anyone please help?

    Go to
    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-downlo...

    Click in the list box and select Windows 10 Insider build 17127, double click the ISO file to open it then start the upgrade.

    You can then upgrade from 17127 to build 17711.

    When my phone fails to upgrade I just keep trying. One upgrade took 3 or 4 tries.

    windows xp installation and dual core am

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
