    windows xp installation and dual core am

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

    harddisk wont boot to windows after motherboard replacement

    greetings ,

    i'm a desktop engineer, i have been changing motherboard of ecs(elite group) to different desktops, after replacing the board the bios prompts message as 'no boot device detected '.How to solve this without the need of re-installation of windows when the
    OS is already present in hard disk.Some of the motherboards will boot to harddisk after new replacement but some motherboards will not boot.

    Please give me the solutions, it will save more time o me.
