Windows 10: Windows installation accidentally cancel

Hello, i was trying to defragment my disc, when the windows update process was in progress. I accidentally stopped windows update so that the defragment process runs optimally, but after I saw that windows update is running install it at 73% and i had stopped it. After it i'm running ccleaner and found 700 error file maybe from windows update. So, i wanna ask, Is it will damage my software or my hardwere? What must i do to recover it?

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

Need to stop (cancel) a windows 8.1 installation

I accidentally started a new windows 8 installation on an IBM Thinkpad. Now I can't stop it.

Any suggestions on how I cancel a windows 8 install? It is sitting on the first windows setup window.

 

Windows Installer popup on Windows 10 will not cancel

For us to isolate the issue with the Windows Installer pop-up that can't be cancelled, we would like to know the following:

• Were there any changes made on your computer prior to the issue (e.g., updates, software installation)?
• When you say "It will not cancel", can you tell us what happens when you try canceling it?
• To make sure that we have not missed on anything, what troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

In he meantime, we suggest that you perform a clean boot. It will help us determine if there are any third-party
programs/apps that is causing the issue. It could be some other applications or programs.
