Windows 10: Windows installed across multiple drives?

    I just got an Aurora, came with a 1TB HDD. I installed a 500GB SSD. I used Macrium to clone the HDD to the SSD. I changed the boot drive in BIOS and booted up from the SSD, played around and everything seems fine. So I formatted the original HDD to be used as a storage drive. Turn PC off. Later, I try to boot up and won't boot. System registry error. I spent about 5 hours yesterday trying to fix it and after several failed attempts to restore and reinstall Windows it finally worked. I used a Windows recovery USB stick. Finally it loaded up a clean installation of Windows. I boot up and everything looks OK. The SSD is now the C: drive with all the system files. But then I noticed when I boot up I very briefly see a screen that asks me which operating system to run. See first pic below That's strange so I open up the disk management tool and picture 2 it appears that the system partitions were put on D drive HDD but all the system files are on C SSD.


    I'm confused. This can't be good. What do I do with this?

    windows xp installation and dual core am

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

    cant install windows 8 on my cruciall ssd drive

    Yeah, that was going to be my next suggestion. You can actually access the command prompt from inside the Windows installer, then run DiskPart and do a Clean command on the drive.
