Windows installed itself i think on my L: drive and won't let me delete the install

Yesterday I installed two ssds into my system, one for windows and one for storing other things, i installed windows onto my c drive successfully and symlinked a folder in my L: drive to a folder in my documents. everything was working well and the only folder on my L: drive was the one i had symlinked to my documents but when i powered my pc on today i find that windows has created an install on my L drive and I don't have the permissions to delete the install. Ive gave my user an admin every single security permission possible on that drive and it still will not let me delete anything.

edit-windows has locked me out of all my other drives other than my c drive as of now.

C windows installer folder - Delete?

He can do symbolic link redirection and move the files in it to a different location. *Wink Windows installed itself i think on my L: drive and won't let me delete the install ;)
Better try it out in a virtual of first. Just a suggestion.

    Like:
First move everything in c:\windows\installer to d:\installercache
    Then delete c:\windows\installer folder
Then type this in command mode as admin
    mklink /d c:\windows\installer d:\installercache

Removing those installer files is a bad idea. it might prevent you from updating or uninstalling apps.

Can install Windows, can't install Linux

Are you doing a clean install?

Also if you are doing a clean install may I suggest this. Delete and format all partitions and let Ubuntu allocate the drive. You might have some MBR files left on the HD that is conflicting with Ubuntu booting.
